Mobile Search Company Offers Major League Baseball Player Statistic Text Alerts

PALO ALTO, Calif. – June 15, 2006 – 4INFO, Inc., the leading mobile search company, announced today the addition of a new text alert service for Major League Baseball player statistics. The service allows users to have a variety of event-triggered text alerts, including both pitching and offensive statistics, sent to their mobile phones. Now, dedicated sports or fantasy baseball fans can get as-they-happen player updates and never miss a noteworthy event.

MLB Player Stat Alerts are a perfect solution for dedicated fans who are interested in the performance of particular players, such as Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, or Roger Clemens. With 4INFO's service, fans can set several statistical alerts, including a game status alert that will send a text announcing whether the player is among the day's starting roster.
